Homemade pizza for the kiddies!

I wasn’t really in the mood for making a big deal tonight so I went with something super easy. Pillsbury Classic Pizza Crust, Ragu Homemade Style Pizza Sauce, and to top it off, some Kraft Pizza Mozzarella Shredded Cheese and VOILA!! You got an easy dinner that the kids love without all the grease and fat. (My kids enjoy plain cheese but you can add any additional topping you like.) Best part is, is eggless dough so my son was able to enjoy it as well. Not many pizza restaurants out there that he can enjoy with the exception of Cici’s (gotta love the buffet there!). Took less than a total of 25 minutes, including prepping the pizza, and pre-heating the oven. Very yummy dinner! Success!

A little about me.

Okay, so I’ll be honest.. I’ve never blogged before in my life! But hey, there’s a first time for everything. So here’s a little about my life, and why I’m starting a blog.

My name is Mary, I’m a stay-at-home mommy with two wondeful children (Angela 6, my step-daughter; and Brody 3, my son). I’m doing this so I can inspire other people out there and help them with things. My son is deathly allergic to peanuts, he has to carry an EpiPen around with him wherever he goes. He’s also allergic to eggs, and a few other things that have nothing to do with food, thank God. So having to adjust to his needs was very difficult at the time, what with reading all of the labels and not knowing for sure if the labels were up to date or false. It was a long process to get used to, but now after 2 1/2 years, it’s super easy.

I want to help other parents, relatives and friends out there with their loved ones allergies and how to work around it while still being able to eat great yummy food! It’s a definite possibility and it’s fun! I’ve just recently moved out on my won with my husband and kids so I’m really always in the kitchen and starting to try new things. I’ll be posting my favorite meal ideas, recipes and tips.

Also, I’m NOT at all, by any means, an expert of any kind. Just another mom trying to feed her family yummy, creative food.
